Apple iPhone 16 iOS 18.3 Update Will Bring Siri + Apple Intelligence Collaboration

After Apple’s iPhone 16, everyone is waiting for Apple Intelligence, an AI-powered system set to arrive in stages with iOS 18.3.

Apple’s iPhone 16 was released earlier this month after much anticipation and whispers on the internet. It had lots of features that set its release apart from the party. Interestingly, one of these features is yet to launch and users all over the planet are awaiting its release eagerly. This feature is Apple Intelligence which is Apple’s creation of personalized artificial intelligence.

This is one of the major differences between iOS 17 and iOS 18, the latter of which is the operating system of the latest iPhone 16 models.

iPhone 16 iOS 18.3 to have Apple Intelligence and the new Siri Experience

A week after the iPhone 16’s launch, users can now personalize their Home Screens using the available coloring and tools and change the placement of apps on the screen. And the Apple Intelligence will launch earlier than expected, say reports, bringing the new and polished Siri experience in tow.

The reports about Apple Intelligence come from Mark Gurman. In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Gurman said that Apple will release its AI program sooner than told before but will do so in stages. He also says the new Siri experience will be out as soon as the iOS 18.3 version is released. This is in contradiction with the plans Apple revealed earlier about releasing the entire package all at once in iOS 18.4.

Gurman’s statement was, “The biggest iOS 18 update after iOS 18.1 will be iOS 18.4, which will include many of the new Siri features (some are in consideration for iOS 18.3, I’m told).”

iOS 18.1, 18.2, 18.3, and 18.4 Release Date

The iOS X.3 updates are usually released in the first quarter. According to Gurman, iOS 18.1 will be internally ready by this week. The update, then, would be released by mid-October.

Then, for iOS 18.2, Apple has said that this will be completed by early November so we can expect it to be released in December. As for iOS 18.3, it should be ready by the end of the year and be released by January next year. iOS 18.4 will be ready by February when its internal testing will begin, to be released in March 2025.

Apple Intelligence Release Date

Apple Intelligence will make its first public utilitarian appearance in iOS 18.1. The tools available employing this technology would be for writing, and summarization, along with several features dropped in various places throughout the system.

iOS 18.2 will take things a little further. AI will be introduced into camera-related applications. Image Playground tool, Genmoji, ChatGPT integration, and lots more will be made available. Siri will also become friends with ChatGPT but that will happen early next year. Many people are looking forward to that.
