AMD next-gen Zen 6 CPU

According to AMD’s CTO, Mark Papermaster, Zen 7 is already under development. While the larger discussions revolved around socket compatibility, AMD clarified that it will continue supporting AM5 through at least 2027. This last bit of news will prove to be a boon to most users.

While this is a long period, perhaps the DDR6 memory and PCIe Gen 6 standards are being upgraded alongside. If so, they would potentially accompany Zen 7’s debut.
Till now, we only know vague outlines about the strategy AMD will follow as it prepares for the Zen 6 and Zen 7 release. However, no specific details about either of the chipsets have made it out to the public yet.
