2025 Subaru BRZ Ups Price Three Times In A Row
The 2025 Subaru BRZ is kinda expensive now. Over the past three years, the price of this sports car has just kept going up.
Inflation spares no one. The automotive industry is no exception. However, the 2025 Subaru BRZ has a certain charisma, a certain force in its experience that just pulls us into the moment and makes us forget the extra amount we paid compared to the previous years model.
The 2025 model of the Subaru BRZ starts at the price of $32,265, an increase of a $950 from last year’s model and $3275 from the year before that, which was also the year this vehicle debuted. But the 2025 BRZ has a ton of new features and accessories that make the sports car too sweet of a ride to let the price increase be an issue. Those who’ve driven a sport Subaru before will know what we are talking about.
Increase in 2025 Subaru BRZ Pricing
As we mentioned, the starting price of the 2025 Subaru BRZ is $32K. However, this is only for the entry-level Premium trim offering manual transmission. As for the engine, it remains the same across all trims of the car: a 228-hp naturally aspirated 2.4-liter flat-four-cylinder engine. The Limited trim offers an eight-speed automatic transmission, only available on this trim.
The Limited trim starts at $34,915 if you opt for the manual transmission. If you want the auto box, you have to be willing to pay $35,765. Seats of black microsuede upholstery and bolsters with red leather come standard with this trim. As for the top-specification Subaru BRZ tS, it only has three pedals and starts at $37,415.
The 2025 Subaru BRZ would not be a new addition if there were no new exciting features to boast. There is a new Sport drive mode for improving the throttle response. According to the company, the interior has a contrast stitching with a deeper hue and is present throughout the cabin now.
The price of the Subaru BRZ has seen quite a steep increase since its debut in 2022. Let’s take a look at the trend. The Subie launched alongside its competitor, the Toyota GR86, at $28,990. The next year, 2023, it went from just under $29K to just above it, that is, $29,615. Then, this year, 2024, we have the price of $31,315. As it continues for the fourth year, the BRZ has seen a total increase of $3275.
Of course, we would have liked to see the price stay more or less consistent over the years. However, let us bear in mind that there are no rear-wheel-drive sports cars in the U.S. that retail below $30K. And the 2025 Subaru BRZ does not deliver anything except excellence.
